This photo montage basically says that in ten years I'll own a husky, still be active in both traditional and digital art, start a DeviantArt account, and have a katana or two (or a whole collection). Besides that, I'm not too certain what my future holds.
Iconic, as defined by Dictionary.com, is "of, relating to, or characteristic of an icon." An icon is "a sign or representation that stands for its object by virtue of a resemblance or analogy to it." The portrait by Steve McCurry turned out to be one of those images that sears the heart, and in June 1985 it ran on the cover of the National Geographic magazine. The girl's sea green eyes are haunted and haunting, and in them you can read the tragedy of a land drained by war.
The lyrics I used for this edit is part of the chorus to a song called The Ever by Red. I chose the image because I wanted something fiery and it went with the part about "the light of a thousand stars". I chose these particular lyrics because I really like the song and it has a personal meaning for me.
